What will be the fate of RocketWhisker?

So it seems I've been inactive since life decided to kick in. I still haven't forgotten about you guys though, don't worry. I'm simply thinking about moving along from RocketWhisker and making it a personal site for my drawings and animations and such.

NEWS: TheJkb's birthday!

Here's some news if you haven't heard it yet. It seems today July 29th is Thejkb's birthday! Transformice is having a party for him which is open to everyone! The party is currently in room thejkbirthday party. There is music and up to 100+ people! But with lots of celebrating means lots of lag so watch out. Also if you are looking to get about 100+ saves I suggest you go there, but getting firsts is practically impossible with so many mice. Some of you may not know who thejkb is so let me explain:

"Thejkb" also known as "Jacob" is a well-known player on Transformice. He ranks first in the "Top Mice" leader board on CheeseForMice meaning statistically he's the best player on Transformice there is. He has  47,000+ firsts making him very respected and hated by many mice. He registered Transformice 6 July, 2010.

If you're looking for a party with about 100 mice and music you should check it out.

NEWS: Boot camp Titles!

July 27th was the kickoff of the 2012 Summer Olympics! It was also the launch of the new Boot camp update on Transformice! You may have noticed a lot your friends in various bootcamp rooms. Why? Because now there are titles! There are officially 31 new Boot camp titles you can unlock in the mini-game.

There is also a new rotation in boot camp maps:

• " P13 : This new category will contain a lot more maps than P3 so these maps will be played less. That’s why some general bootcamp criteria will be changed for P13. The map crew is still working on a guideline for it, so all I can say for new is the standards will be lowered for P13.
• New rotation : P3 / P13 / P3 / P13 … etc "

The actual titles you can earn that I have found so far are (No order currently):

Some mice are getting into the patriotic spirit by customizing their items to their nations flag colors in honor of the Olympic games! I customized my hair ( The Rainbow Dash hair ) To resemble the American flag. n_n

Transformice Shamaning Tips: Basic Building 101

So if you've already started playing Transformice you probably already have heard about the whole "shaman" thing.

If you've played long enough you've probably become shaman once, and you may have had to build.

If you are new to this game there's a 97.99% chance your build may not work all that well. 

Let's do some Q and A.

Question: 

What is a shaman?

Answer:

 A shaman helps mice to get to the cheese and back to the mouse hole to earn points. This may require building or solving puzzles to help the mice. The shaman always wears markings and a feather.

Question:

How do you become shaman?

Answer:

To become shaman you have to earn points by collecting cheese. Once your name is at the top of the point board you will become shaman. You must stay in the same room though or your point count will reset to 0. After you become shaman your point count will reset to 0 and you do the same thing over again.

OKAY ENOUGH Q AND A! LET'S GET TO THE TUTORIAL! :D

Okay so let's start! :)

Let's start with a simple map like this. Remember: Your object is to get the mice to the cheese and to the mouse hole after.

You may have noticed you have a bunch of objects in the corner. That's what you build with.

First start with an invisible big box.

To make an object invisible select your object, press the SPACEBAR and then spawn it by clicking and holding down on place you want to spawn it. NOTE: Mice can pass through invisible objects. We have an invisible box so that way they wont get stuck on the other side of your build.

Next add a invisible red nail little board.

Here's a guide to get you familiar with nails. DO NOT SKIP THIS!

Lastly: Add a rotated VISIBLE big board as shown.

You can rotate objects with the Control and SHIFT Keys. You can also just use Z and X.

Try new things! Learn through trial and error. Don't be afraid to experiment with different nails and objects! :)
